As we enter our sixth year in business, we took the time to reflect on where Denver Flea has been – what started in 2015 as a 30-vendor market in Denver’s City Park has become something much larger than we initially thought. After nineteen Denver Flea events, hundreds of vendors and countless meaningful connections, we wrapped up 2018 with our first-ever Holiday Market at Denver Union Station, setting up shop on the historic Plaza with 350+ vendors, welcoming 50,000+ attendees over the course of four weekends and setting the stage for the next chapter of our company.
And now, it’s time to focus on where we are going. In addition to opening a brick and mortar retail shop in Downtown Denver in Spring 2019, we’ll continue to make our Denver markets better than ever, while also expanding our presence in new arenas.
To better align with our mission to support small brands and allow for future growth, we will no longer be called the Denver Flea. Our new name is Fetch Markets – and we wanted you, our awesome community of fans, to be among the first to know.
Though our name will change, who we are as a company will not. Our events, Fetch Markets (formerly Denver Flea), will remain a celebration of emerging brands and small business, a unique shopping experience beyond traditional retail, and a community gathering place that engages, connects and excites people from all over Colorado and the country.
Our next Denver event is our Spring Market on April 12-14, 2019 in the RiNo neighborhood. We hope you’ll join us for the first market of the year and kick off the new season in Fetchin’ style. More details are coming soon and in the meantime, be sure to click around our new website.
We feel incredibly lucky to have grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined six years ago and are grateful to have had you by our side during this journey – we hope you’ll continue to join us for this wild ride we call reinvented retail.
